Sneaker Sunday, New Nails, Strawberries & w♥c
Posted May 16th, 2010 by MitsuViolet LeBeaux has been doing a Sneaker Sunday on her love of sneakers, and I’ve wanted to get into the spirit since I’m a bit of a sneaker freaker myself 
I also got my W♥C order in so I had to break in my WC sneakers
Hurrah the dotted black ones 
This is going to be a bit of an all-over-the-place post since I was quite a busy bee today. Starting with strawberries!
I went to the local Strawberry Festival 
The world’s largest Strawberry Shortcake. It was HUUUUUUUGE!
All the strawberry shortcake slices lined up in a row. 
I smile so stupidly, but OMG F YEAH STRAWBERRIES! 
Man finished most of it. It was huuuge :sparkle2:
Sadly, that was all the strawberry stuff. The rest was carnival & fatty food.
Of course it’s a festival in Texas, so…. sigh 
Houston has a lesbian mayor, we voted for Obama, we’re primarily Hispanic, so… uhhh this is the minority. 
Even worse was the… WTFBBQ :huh: :huh: Apparrently they’re motorized carts. But when one passed us I thought I was on drugs 
Like WTF. This belongs at Hello Kitty Hell. I gotta submit. HIDEOUS!

Nails & WC Goodies
So back to Sneaker Sunday and my super comfy WC hightops. 
I love hightop sneakers and I’m so happy gal brands are doing them.
Concerning gal brands and sneakers: COCOLULU had a collab with Nike and now does their own thing, ReDark also did a Nike collab, Backs has a regular sneaker line and with the addiction of WC I think that’s it.
I guess you don’t have to be a Mori Gyaru to love nature. :sparkle2:

The new scarf trend is wearing it as a belt, so I’ve been experimenting with that :note:
Man loves my new Tiger shirt from w♥c and I gotta say I’m giddy about it, too 
Finally my new nails. A bit ethnic, Egyptian-esque :sparkle2:

you know, I’m too busy/lazy haha to go to the wc store, but do you happen to know how to properly choose the shoe size there? I mean it’s a stereotype that if it’s an asian shop, only small sizes everywhere, huh. I hope it’s not so? ^__^ I mean the shoe size there = american typical shoe size right?

Me = so jealous of your W*C sneakers. They look really cute on you and suit your style well^^ It’s so funny, when I went to the W*C and looked at the shirts I was surprised by how short all of them were. They just always look so over-sized on the Japanese models haha^^ Ok my train of thought was sneakers are lovely, don’t fit my big feet, shirts also don’t fit me well. Sorry it seemed like a random jump XD
Oh strawberries!! Looks soooo yummy! That is one of the few things I am looking forward to about going back to the US. The strawberries are affordable. I won’t pay the prices here. Cherries also.

The tshirts though fit me like American ones. Maybe because Chinatsu loves American retro? If not maybe their mens sizes are longer. I know they recently did mens in the double c katakana and the tiger 
LOL So true! For thanksgiving I brought over strawberries in Tokyo because I know the price of good fruit is so obscene and would be much loved. They were eaten really quickly

I was thinking they looked a bit art deco, maybe that’s why I thought Egyptian since Art Deco was influenced by the opening of Tuts tomb and Egpyt fevah
Yeah I was worried about them, but I really wanted a new pair of casual sneakers and paying the same price for recently boring Nikes made me make up my mind for WC.
