Gyaru Iphone Backgrounds
Posted May 27th, 2011 by MitsuI’ve had the same Liz Lisa iPhone backgrounds for 3 months and needed a change. The problem is other than Liz Lisa, Ma*rs, and Cocolulu no other companies have put out iPhone backgrounds, so I had to make my own. I thought I’d share my results and also post the Liz Lisa and Ma*rs iPhone backgrounds. Designs were taken from clothing, accessories, and website pictures.
All are 480 x 320 which is the traditional iPhone size.
SLY
I’m in love with SLY’s big head fashion girls. The t-shirt print sold out twice, so I’m not alone.
They also had an iPhone case that sold out as well.
SLY has collaborated with 1980s graffiti artist Keith Haring for bedding and clothing designs. This is a Keith Haring piece.

I have no graphic talent but seeing webpages of you ladies I know many of you have skills. So if you’re interested in doing more Gyaru (brand or otherwise) iPhone/android wallpapers I’d love to see them and if you allow I’ll post it here with a link crediting you.

Thank you for posting these! I love SLY’s as well. They’re so eerily chique. But then I saw GILFY’s and fell in love with that second green-ish one. No iPhone yet but my keitai could always use some fashion sense.

I really love that greenish one. It’s from their website page without context but I thought the pucci type print really looked pretty

I wanted to point out to you really quickly the SLY couldn’t have possibly collaborated with Keith Haring. He died in 1990.
You’re right they used his prints from his estate. Sly is saying Haring which does make me think they’ve gotten approval and paid commission.
Should I have labeled it differently instead of collab? I was considering the right wording when typing it…
