Liz Lisa (リズリサ) has done a pen and pencil collaboration with Pentel brand Sliccies (スリッチーズ)[katakanaized it’s like 3-cheese *sideeye*]. The Liz Lisa pen and pencil are well priced at 210 yen ($2.30) and the pencil case sets are 750 yen ($8.00) the additional pen inks and erasers are 105 yen.
Liz Lisa you kawaii crack.
Do I have a pen drawer full of unused pens because I just e-mail or text everyting? Absolutely. Do I buy the Liz Lisa x Sliccies pen collection? Of course I do.
Liz Lisa this season especially has tried to reach out to a younger audience of high school girls.
//siderant//It’s even seemed sized most of its clothing down from a Japan M to a Japan S. Hips may not apply. The whole concept is crazy to me because it’s often a mix of ages when I go in and the Liz Lisa in store events definitely bring out a large age mix. //siderant//
But they’re definitely targeting high school girls who can’t stick out much in uniform choices, but can definitely be cuter than you in pen and pen accessories.
Liz Lisa x Pentel Sliccies Line-up
Liz Lisa has put out a series of 5 colors each with different designs. They’re all available in pen, pencil, eraser, refill pencil lead and pen case set. The sets all come with a pink pencil case. Liz Lisa makes your “School life more fun”
The pens are the old-school style of pens holding 3 pen colors. Sliccies gives you the option of .3 .4 .5 size pen widths in a bunch of different colors (see in-store display pics below). They say the collaboration is “gentei” (seasonal) but no idea when it will stop being in stores. Judging by my hunting around the pen case sets are super popular.
Sliccies Liz Lisa Pen Haul
I got the Mint Green Pencil Case set and Pink Pen. Also 4 refill Sliccies pen bits in baby pink, black, navy and purple.
Liz Lisa x Sliccies Pencil Case Set
The set comes with a pen (empty), pencil (filled), pencil lead & case, eraser and pink pencil case (all color choices came with a pink case).
Filling your Liz Lisa x Sliccies Pen
Sliccies has around 13 color choices and 3 pen sizes. I chose baby pink in a .3 mm (finest point) pen.
Once you tear open the package you have to remove the rubber stopper at the pen tip.
Then untwist and insert. It’s super easy!

Liz Lisa x Sliccies In Store Pics at Kobe Tokyu Hands
I bought my Liz Lisa pens and pen case set at Kobe Tokyu Hands. They’re also available at LoFT and other supply stores in Japan. They are not available at Liz Lisa stores or on-line from Liz Lisa. Sadly this is where I have to say I cannot find an on-line store that’s not sold out of them.
I have to say I absolutely love this collection. My only regret is not buying another pencil. Maybe one in blue. I love that beyond their “gentei” I can still use all the pens and pencils I bought because the lead and pen ink is replaceable. I may not use writing tools so much now in our tech world, but when I do admittedly it’s nice to have something cute.
