A Political Science graduate, but more than that a complete and total shopaholic. Lived half of the time in Tokyo and half in Houston since 2007 until 2011. Around 2 and a half years combined living in Tokyo. Currently in back in Houston for a long stay.

Mitsu tales

I’ve petted a baby lion and held a sloth. I’ve shot a machine gun and a Glock. I learned I’m a horrible shot. I’ve lived in Canada and Mexico, both for a short summer. I love Japanese gyaru fashion, Russian history and politics and English television. I’d really like to learn Russian. Someday. I’m a sports fanatic and love to watch games in person, if not I’m reading about or watching them. I’m palm sweatingly afraid of heights, but I think insects are cool.

I love to travel and do it whenever I can, I’m not very good at sitting in the same place. I absolutely love traveling within Japan. Other than living in Tokyo I’ve been to Nara, Kamakura, Hakone, Niigata, Nagoya, Sendai, Osaka, Kyoto, Kobe, Hiroshima, Fukuoka, Shizuoka, Nagano, and Kanazawa. Lately documenting gal fashion in every Japanese city I visit.

My man thinks I’d deco my cat if she could stand still. I think he’s right. I love shine and deco, but resist diamond jewelry. I think my two best qualities are stubbornness and being upbeat, I think my two worst qualities are stubbornness and being eternally late.

I’ve been with my man a very long time and I admire and love him to be pieces. He’s my best friend.

My style themes are girly, monotone and classic blends. But above all else, I prefer to be playful. I believe fashion is the most fun experiment.

I love hats, cardigans, jewelry, and dresses. So I own a lot of all four.

I have 4 animals: a basset hound and three cats. You’ll often see me tweet and instagram about all of them.  If I’m not blogging I’m either shopping, working out, reading, heading out to eat, traveling, watching sports or spending time with my man/animals.
